Please read this guide carefully before using any Mr. Waggy Tails product.

Every product from Mr. Waggy Tails is developed with carefully selected ingredients to support your pet’s grooming routine.

However, every pet is unique. Age, breed, coat type, skin sensitivity, allergies and health conditions can influence how a product performs.

Always use our products responsibly and according to the instructions provided.

Before First Use

Before using any new grooming product:

✔ Read the label carefully.

✔ Check the ingredient list if your pet has known allergies.

✔ Perform a patch test.

✔ Ensure your pet is calm before bathing.

✔ Use clean, lukewarm water.

Patch Test (Highly Recommended)

Before the first full bath:

  1. Apply a small amount of shampoo to a small area of your pet’s body.
  2. Wait for approximately 24 hours.
  3. Observe for redness, irritation, excessive scratching or swelling.

If any unusual reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a qualified veterinarian.

How to Bathe Your Dog

  1. Brush the coat to remove loose hair and tangles.
  2. Wet the coat thoroughly using lukewarm water.
  3. Apply the shampoo evenly.
  4. Massage gently to create a rich lather.
  5. Avoid contact with the eyes, ears, nose and mouth.
  6. Leave the shampoo on the coat for approximately 3–5 minutes unless otherwise directed.
  7. Rinse thoroughly until no shampoo residue remains.
  8. Dry your pet using a clean towel or a pet-safe dryer on a low heat setting.
  9. Brush the coat after drying.

Avoid Contact With

Do not allow the product to come into contact with:

  • Eyes
  • Nose
  • Mouth
  • Inner ears
  • Open wounds
  • Broken skin

If accidental contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.

Storage Instructions

Store the product:

  • In a cool, dry place.
  • Away from direct sunlight.
  • With the cap tightly closed.
  • Out of reach of children.
  • Away from food and beverages.

Do not use products beyond their expiry date.

Suitable For

Our grooming products are generally suitable for most dog breeds unless otherwise stated on the product packaging.

Always follow age recommendations provided on the label.

When Not to Use

Do not use the product:

  • On pets with open wounds unless advised by a veterinarian.
  • On severely irritated skin without veterinary advice.
  • If your pet is known to be allergic to any ingredient.
  • After the product’s expiry date.
  • In any manner inconsistent with the product instructions.

If Your Pet Shows Irritation

If your pet develops:

  • Excessive scratching
  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Rash
  • Discomfort
  • Unusual behaviour

Immediately:

  • Stop using the product.
  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • Consult a qualified veterinarian if symptoms persist or worsen.

Keep Bath Time Stress-Free

Many pets feel anxious during bathing.

To make bath time enjoyable:

  • Speak calmly.
  • Use lukewarm water.
  • Avoid loud noises.
  • Reward your pet afterwards with praise or treats.
  • Never force your pet into the bath.
